Photographs From the Nineties

One of the basic requirements during my work on the series of photographs was to lose control of the pictures coming into being to a certain extent. Naturally every photograph may potentially develop in this direction. That is why we are still surprised by photography. In the case of these pictures the element of surprise is in my opinion connected with the belief in seeing something more than just a studied expression of my own imagination.

Black and white photograph showing a blurred figure with raised arms in motion, creating multiple transparent overlapping exposures against a light background. The movement creates ghost-like streaks across the frame.

Extreme close-up black and white photograph of body parts in motion. Blurred hands or limbs create abstract white forms against dark shadows, with strong contrast between light and dark areas.

Black and white photograph of what appears to be a stacked or bundled structure made of thin white lines or strands against a dark gradient background. The chaotic arrangement creates a nest-like or cocoon-like form.
